Mission
Movement4Kids is dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialized mobility equipment, medical supplies, and essential resources to children in need. We work to ensure that children with disabilities have access to the tools and support they need to thrive, allowing them to participate more fully in their communities and daily activities.

Fundraising Overview

In 2024-2025, we were able to raise $18,500 through the generosity of our donors. These funds directly supported our mission in Ecuador, where we provided critical equipment and services to children with disabilities.

We are deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our donors, whose contributions make it possible for us to continue our work and expand our impact in the communities we serve.

Program Spending Overview

Our total expenses for the fiscal year were $19,930.67, broken down as follows:

1. Equipment Costs - $13,862.00

Our largest expense was the purchase of specialized equipment for children in Ecuador. This year, we were able to acquire the following items:

• 31 Strollers: $2,832.00

• 41 Wheelchairs: $9,230.00

• 68 Pairs of Shoes: $1,800.00

These items were essential in providing children with greater mobility, comfort, and independence. The strollers and wheelchairs allow children to move around with greater ease, while the shoes help improve posture and prevent injury for those who spend a lot of time in specialized seating and those with orthotics used when walking.

2. Materials - $2,967.01

In addition to the equipment, we also invested in materials needed to maintain and improve the mobility devices we provide. These materials include:

• Foam for wheelchair cushions and positioning pads/wedges

• Wheelchair cushions

• Chest harnesses

• Material for repairs or new cushion/padding covers

These materials help ensure the equipment remains functional and comfortable for children as they grow, while also addressing specific medical needs related to posture and seating.

3. Storage and Transportation - $3,101.66

Efficient storage and transportation of equipment is a critical part of our operations. This year, we incurred costs for:

• Delta luggage fees for transporting complex wheelchairs that are unavailable for purchase in Ecuador

• Storage facility rental fees in Ecuador to store equipment and supplies for the upcoming year

• Trucking fees for moving equipment between storage and the Hospital Municipal

These logistical expenses ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment can be easily transported to the locations where they are most needed.

While there was a slight shortfall in covering the full cost of our operations this year, we are confident that we will be able to close this gap in future campaigns, thanks to the support of our dedicated donors and partners. We are actively working to increase fundraising efforts in the coming year to ensure our work continues without interruption.
